A little bit about who I am and where I came from:

I was born in 1987, the youngest of three children, and I grew up in Jamaica plain. I attended Boston public schools and earned a bachelors degree from a state university. intrigued by culture and hands-on work, I did some volunteer work with Americorps, and later taught English in Spain. Settling in back in the states, I soon found purpose in woodworking and carpentry.

I befriended several older gentlemen who had been building and remodeling homes for decades. fascinated by the skills and techniques used to transform living spaces, I gravitated towards such men in the trade, working and learning alongside them for five years. Additionally, I spent five years working as a carpenter for two high-end building firms in the Boston area. I’ve been involved in projects, large and small. I’ve seen the nitty-gritty and the pristine clean projects.

I generally work by the principle of leaving the place better than you found it. Often one must protect the existing living spaces while working on others. I understand the importance of this and enjoy accomplishing various home remodeling goals.

Whether I’m setting up temporary walls and site protection, dialing in the framing details for a unique opening, or cutting and installing millwork, I pride myself in attention to detail.

For me, there is great satisfaction in working with building materials and creating a fine finish. My plan is to focus on doing quality work, gaining the trust of my clients as I continue to master the ever evolving craft of carpentry and building.
